Dr. Anthony S. Grecia 
President

Dr. Grecia is a 21-year clinical practitioner and the First Filipino occupational therapist who obtained his doctorate degree in the Philippines, focusing on clinical practice, program development, and mental health of children, adolescents, and adults with developmental and social-emotional challenges. Dr. Grecia is an advocate of life-long learning and education, reflective practice, and leadership and service. Having obtained his bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of the Philippines – Manila, he continued and graduated with a master’s degree in counseling and doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Ateneo de Manila University. A U.S. certified OT practitioner since 2006, Dr. Grecia has been trained and certified for Autism Demystification (Canada) Program for Giftedness (Japan) and Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (Indonesia and Philippines). He is also an Associate Fellow Candidate for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through CBT – Australia. Currently, he is in the process of completing certification from Collaborative Leadership in Ayres Sensory Integration. A tireless advocate for spreading awareness, Dr. Grecia is the author of the first published Philippine article on Asperger’s Syndrome or Mild Autism Spectrum Disorder/ASD. He is also the proponent and author of the first Filipino-based, school-based, peer-mediated, Social Skills Training Program for Youth with ASD. He also conducted a study on the inner-world and occupational performance of children with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (AD/HD). He also proposed the Learning Disability/LD framework for Filipino Occupational Therapists. Dr. Grecia is the current and longest serving President of Philippine Academy of Occupational Therapists. He is also a member of CHED-Technical Committee on Occupational Therapy Education and a 3-term Board of Trustee of the Philippine Mental Health Association. He is currently the Program Director of the branches of GOALS Inc. (Alabang, Caloocan, & Bonifacio Global City). 

Ma. Consolacion S. Maranan
Vice President

Ms. Maranan has been in the field of education for more than thirty years. She taught English as a Second Language for several years before becoming an Elementary School Counselor, a position she currently holds at Brent International School Manila. Ms. Maranan has worked extensively with children of different abilities and cultures and continues to support and ensure academic and social emotional well-being of students under her care, as well as provide workshops for both parents and teachers.

 

Anna Maria Patricia Santos
Treasurer 

Ms. Santos is a parent of a child with special needs. Her corporate career began in banking and financial software services before transitioning into retail operations, marketing and public relations, and events management and coordination. She is currently a small business owner with stores in two Metro Manila shopping malls and has been on her condominium corporation's board of trustees for seven years, serving four of those as Treasurer and two as President.
 

 

Atty. Mia G. Gentugaya
Director

Atty. Gentugaya is a lawyer by training and profession, with specialization in banking, corporations, mergers and acquisitions, and investments. She was Of Counsel in a top-tier Makati-based Philippine law firm, where she was Senior Partner, member of the Executive Committee, and head of the firm’s Banking, Finance & Securities Group until 2016. She has been cited as a leading lawyer in commercial and banking law by international reviewers, including Chambers, International Financial Law Review, and The Legal 500. Asia Law Business Journal has cited Atty. Gentugaya as one of The Philippines’ Top 100 Lawyers in 2019 and 2020. Atty. Gentugaya sits in the Board of Directors of various companies. She is also an Independent Director in a publicly listed hotel-owning company and a Bangko Sentral-registered investment company. Atty. Gentugaya is a faculty member from the UP College of Law, DLSU College of Law, and Silliman University College of Law for civil, commercial, and banking law. She recently earned her Masters of Law degree in the UP College of Law. Atty. Gentugaya is also in the speakers’ bureau of various groups, and lectures on investments, corporate housekeeping, time management for lawyers, legal ethics, among others. Atty. Gentugaya is a collaborator in special education circles, including SENIA - Special Education Network and Inclusion Association.


Atty. Elizabeth H. Palma
Director

Celebrating a golden anniversary since graduating from the UP College of Law, Atty. Palma has worked both in government and the private sector. In government she worked in the areas of home finance, provident fund, small business guarantee and the retirement authority. Atty. Palma briefly taught business law at the UP College of Business Administration and completed units in MBA at the Ateneo de Manila University. In the private sector she worked with investment companies and real estate developers. Currently she sits in the board of real estate and development companies. Going beyond the reach of the law profession, Atty. Palma trained in Mediation as an alternative dispute resolution and finished a course in Coaching.
