In the Bridge Program, we promote student success as they journey through a diverse K–12 classroom, pre-employment, and/or employment setting. This program is catered toward students transitioning into the classroom and full-time students in the classrooms who benefit from additional individual support.
We value individualized learning. Students receive tailored services from our team of educators and therapists to achieve their goals.
Therapy and instructional support sessions may be conducted as individual, dyad, or larger group, interdisciplinary, pull-out, or push-in to cultivate growth. Students may participate in any one or a combination of these classes or programs:
The school provides these services through our Allied Health and Related Services Program. A team of licensed speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists collaborates with classroom teachers to ensure a seamless transition and application of skills.
The Instructional Support (IS) Program provides supplemental learning support and/or positive behavior intervention to promote the learning process across diverse settings. Sessions are facilitated by licensed professional teachers who are trained to work with students of all abilities. We aim to strengthen the bridge between classroom and home learning to further target students' mastery and generalization of skills and independence through strategies best fit for each student's unique learning style.
We offer Instructional Support in academics, creative arts, fitness, music, reading, sign language, voice, behavior management, and independent living skills. The Bridge Program will also create new Instructional Support programs, depending on the needs and interests of the students.
