Job Qualifications:

  • A tenured staff, either teacher or therapist at The Vanguard Academy or has at least three (3) years of experience working outside the said institution
  • Has experience handling the interns at school for at least one school year
  • Demonstrate knowledge of different jobs and career paths.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Identify accommodations and other workplace interventions for the interns’ unique needs.
  • Be able to independently travel to and from different workplace sites in Metro Manila.
  • Be available to work on weekends, if needed.

Role Objectives:

  • Advocate for adults with special needs (PWDs).
  • Negotiate accommodations and other workplace interventions with partner companies.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems collaboratively and in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate the skills of interns/employees’ on-the-job performance.

Step 1

Submit these documents to recruitment@vanguard.edu.ph.


Step 2

Those who meet the qualifications will be invited for an in person interview with the Recruitment Team.


Step 3

  • Teachers, therapists, and guidance counselor applicants will follow these steps:
    • Observe classrooms.
    • Submit lesson plans for two classes.
    • Conduct demonstration lessons for two classes.
    • Submit a writing sample.
    • Interview with the Head of School.
  • All other positions will interview with the Head of School upon the recommendation of the Recruitment Team.

Step 4

Submit to Human Resources these requirements:

  • Transcript of Records
  • NBI Clearance
  • Child Protection Policy and Committee on Decorum and Investigation Attestation Form
